JAVNI ZAVOD GASILSKA BRIGADA KOPER/ENTE PUBBLICO VIGILI DEL FUOCO, CAPODISTRIA

The public body Gasilska brigada Koper (Firefighters of Koper) carries out activities of fire protection and rescue in four municipalities (Koper, Island, Piran, Ankaran). 
It has 65 firefighters and more than 20 specialized vehicles available. 
Among its activities:
- Fire fighting activity,
- Fire prevention,
- Rescue of people, animals and goods in case of fire and other accidents,
- Rescue of people, animals and goods at sea,
- Technical assistance in the event of road accidents,
- Help in case of ecological accidents.
